Seattle at the Lake: About Us

We're builders but this has been our personal home. We've done extensive remodeling making it just a joy to live on the lake. There is nothing quite like getting up early to watch the sun rise to the East over the lake. You can actually sit out there and have a cup of coffee pretty much every day of the year.

And yet the houses is close to many things in the Seattle area. You can easily and quickly drive into downtown for dinner or musical events. Or down and around the lake to the East side. For travelers, the airport is an easy drive as well.

Seattle is a big metropolitan area and we are moving north to be closer to the grand children. But we couldn't part with our wonderful lake so we've decided to offer it for vacation rental knowing guests will love it as much as we do.

So please take a good look at our photos and then think about how much nicer it would be to rent a lake house than an expensive and impersonal hotel with small rooms, no kitchen and no handy back door lake access.
